LEO-CEDARVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): An Avilla man has died following a Friday morning crash.

Two vans collided head-on Friday morning on Hosler Road west of Leo-Cedarville.

52-year-old Durand Courtney of Avilla was pinned inside his van after being hit head-on by another van.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office confirmed Monday that Courtney died the same day as the crash after being flown to a hospital in critical condition. He died from blunt force trauma.

Courtney is the 12th traffic fatality in Allen County this year.
