FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 10-year-old is in critical condition after a two-car crash in Fort Wayne on Thursday morning.

A Mercury Tracer was heading west on Creighton Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. when it ran a red light and a minivan going north on Anthony Boulevard hit it, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police say there were two adults and five children inside the car that was designed for five people. A 10-year-old inside the car was sent to a local hospital in critical condition.

The other people inside the car were also taken to the hospital. Some may be seriously injured, but it’s not clear who.

The driver of the minivan wasn’t hurt.
