FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Up to fifty more people will be hired in the summer of 2017 to the new Walmart milk facility than originally planned.

The Allen County Council approved an application for an abatement, which said the plant will hire 50 more people than it originally reported, according to the News-Sentinel.

Over the next 10 years, the plant will get a more than $10.7 million tax break. A tax abatement reduces the amount the amount of taxes owners pay on new construction

Construction for the new 250,000 square-foot plant is expected to begin in July and open in the summer of 2017.
