Turnstone’s Plassman Athletic Center one of top 10 adaptive sports facility in America

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne sports center that serves people with disabilities was named one of the best in America.

Turnstone’s Plassman Athletic Center made the top 10 list for best adaptive sports facilities in America, according to Sports Planning Guide.

The athletic center, which opened in 2015, is 120,000-square-foot and is one of the three largest Paralympic sport clubs in the United States.

Turnstone is a not-for-profit. It provides therapeutic, educational, wellness, sports and recreational programs for people with disabilities, according to Turnstone’s website.
