Michigan man arrested in Fremont during traffic stop

FREMONT, Ind. (WOWO): A Michigan man was arrested after a traffic stop in Fremont.

Fremont Police Department officers pulled over a green Ford Mustang on South Wayne Street on Sunday. During the stop, officers learned Richard Warren Small, 53, of Coldwater had active warrants out of Michigan, according to the Fremont Police Department.

The Fremont Police Department said he was arrested for his non-compliance with the sex offender registration act. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

He was sent to the Steuben County Jail.
