FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One name returns to the Fort Wayne Komets roster, while another one leaves, ahead of tonight’s game against Kalamazoo in Fort Wayne.

The Komets announced yesterday that forward Garrett Thompson has been released from his AHL professional tryout (PTO) with the Iowa Wild, and will return to the Fort Wayne lineup ahead of tonight’s game. It was Thompson’s first call-up of the season to the AHL, where he appeared in two games during his stay with Iowa.

Forward Zac Larraza, on the other hand, has been recalled to the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners. He started the season with Tucson, appearing in three games before being sent to Fort Wayne. Larraza has scored seven goals and 25 points in 34 games for the Komets.

The Komets return home off a three-game road trip to take on the Kalamazoo Wings tonight at 7:30pm. You can hear the game live on WOWO.
