FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Women in Allen County earn 70 cents for every dollar earned by men.

That’s according to a new national study on the gender pay gap, based on census data. It shows Indiana is the third-worst in the country; Hoosier women earn 73 cents for every dollar a man earns, coming in behind Louisiana and Utah.

The national rate is around 81 cents to the dollar, while women in Florida earn an average of 87 cents per dollar.

The Journal Gazette reports Grant County is the best place in the surrounding area for women to work, earning an average of 10 cents more than they do in Allen County.

I hope everybody already knows that the “gender pay gap” is a complete lie and statistically bogus.
