US Economy adds 250,000 jobs in October 2018

NATIONWIDE (WOWO): The United States economy created 250,000 jobs in October, up from 118,000 in September, according to the US Labor Department.

Jennifer Winkeljohn of HR consulting firm Robert Half International tells WOWO News that’s not the only good news from today’s jobs report:

“The wage growth year to date is up 3.1%. We haven’t seen numbers of that level since April 2009.”

Winkeljohn adds that the job market is so competitive right now, the best way for employers to find workers is by stealing them from other employers.
