FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Get ready for a lot of snow this weekend.

A winter storm is set to drop anywhere from 3 to 8 inches of snow on northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, with a Winter Storm Watch in effect until 4am Sunday.

ABC 21 meteorologist Matt Leach tells WOWO News since this winter has been fairly mild, it was only a matter of time before something like this popped up.

“It’s not very scientific, but a trend I’ve noticed… for each week we’ve had another mild stretch or temperatures of around 60, Mother Nature pays us back with that much more cold temperatures and snow.
