Charges filed in Fort Wayne shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Charges have been filed against a 54-year-old woman over a shooting that sent a man to the hospital two weeks ago.

Police tell Fort Wayne’s NBC Glenda Watkins is charged with aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, battery with a deadly weapon, carrying a handgun without a license and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon over the February 3rd shooting of a man inside a home on Lillie Street.

Police say she allegedly shot the man twice, then put the gun to his head and threatened to shoot him a third time unless he apologized for an apparent offense. After he did, she reportedly left the building.

She’s due in court for her next hearing on February 20th.
