A-F Grades Put On Hold In Allen County

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Community Schools are looking to pause Indiana's accountability grades.

The board of trustees approved the resolution to put the “A-F” grades on hold for a year. They say the grade from the previous year will carry over and stand, according to our partners in news at 21 Alive.

Their is some flexibility with the grading scale. The federal government allows states options to deal with the new test standards. They say 26 other states have decided to act upon the changes and the State Board of Education could take up this issue in the summer.
