DRESSER, Ind. (AP) _ A western Indiana official says the failure of a dike is threatening about two dozen homes in a Wabash River community just west of Terre Haute.
 
  Deputy Director J.D. Kesler of the Vigo County Emergency Management Agency says attempts Sunday night to protect the dike failed, sending water into the community of Dresser. 
 
  Dresser resident Tim Hedden said Monday that 50 to 60 people were helping him sandbag around his home, but he says he needs more help because the Wabash River is still rising.
 
  Kesler says floodwaters also caused the Prairieton-Honey Creek levee to fail about 3 a.m. Monday. He says flooding there is expected isolate about two dozen homes near Prairieton, but isn’t expected to endanger any homes.
