American Drivers Save Money on Gas Compared to Last Labor Day Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Gas prices have risen, but www.gasbuddy.com analysts say we have reason to be happy. That's because while gas has gone up over 12 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.67 a gallon yesterday, prices are almost 20 cents a gallon lower than they were a year ago. Patrick DeHaan with www.gasbuddy.com says drivers saved almost 300 million dollars over what was spent for Labor Day weekend last year. Just as a reminder, you can download Gas Buddy's free smartphone app to find the lowest gas prices.
