Johnson Academy Board Approves Charter Appeal

The board of the Timothy L. Johnson Academy has voted to appeal that decision by the Ball State University to drop the school’s charter.  Our news partners at 21 Alive tell us that the board made the decision yesterday after Ball State decided to drop the charter along with those of Imagine on Broadway, and Imagine Master Academy.  In all, seven charter schools across the state are scheduled to lose their charter because of poor test scores.
