Auburn Police Arrest Passed Out Driver on Meth Charges

AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO) – Auburn police arrested a woman early this morning after finding her passed out behind the wheel of her car.  Officers found the vehicle parked at a gas station at Wayne Street and Auburn Drive.  A police K-9 dog was used to detect the presence of alleged illegal drugs and meth precursors.  Holly Slone, 23, of Auburn was taken into custody and booked into the DeKalb County Jail.  She’s charged with Possession of Meth, along with Possession of Precursors and Paraphernalia and with Criminal Recklessness.

Police chief Martin McCoy says the incident could have ended in disaster, with the woman passed out inside a  running vehicle, parked next to a gas pump with volatile meth making materials allegedly inside the car.
