FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Racing officials have announced the long-term lease of Baer Field Speedway effective immediately. The facility, on the city's south side, was shut down last July due to financial difficulties under previous management. Plans are for a full schedule of events for the 2015 racing season. The track will be back up and running under new promoter, Angola businessman Dave Muzzillo, and a new staff. Opening Night 2015 is on Saturday, April 11th.
