Bite Mark Leads to Murder Charges For Fort Wayne Man

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A Fort Wayne man's bite mark on his right arm is what reportedly brought him into custody on murder charges from a December convenience store robbery.

26 year old Sanchez “Chaz” Williams is accused of murdering the owner of Big Al's Convenience Store, 21 year old Moath Nassir, after a struggle on December 29th. The Journal-Gazette reports that Nassir bit down on Williams' arm before he was shot and killed. That bite mark reportedly left a scab, which prevented him from donating to a local plasma center he frequented.

Police tips and statements from a friend also helped identify Williams as a suspect.

Williams was arrested Friday and is charged with murder, felony murder, and robbery. He was just released from prison after being convicted on burglary charges in October 2007.
