Buggy Crash Sends 6 To Hospital

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ind. (WOWO): A car rear ended a horse and buggy, injuring 6 and sending a toddler to the hospital.

Saturday afternoon, a car driven by Stacie Lynn Scott hit the buggy traveling south on CR 400 E just south of US20. Police don't know why she hit the buggy, but it happened with enough force to eject passengers before the car slid into a fence.

A 2 year old boy was hurt and flown to Parkview Regional with injuries to his mouth, face and jaw, along with possible internal injuries.

All together 6 people were hurt and sent to the hospital and charges have been filed. Police estimate around $10,000 of damage.
