FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Beer and wine are coming to some local movie theaters.

The local Alcoholic Beverage Board has approved a liquor license for Carmike's Jefferson Point and Dupont Road theaters. That means that beer and wine will be sold at these theaters going forward. 

Carmike officials tells the Journal-Gazette that they sell alcohol at over 50 locations nationwide and they've never had an alcohol violation on their record. The only other Carmike location that sells beer and wine in the state of Indiana is in Plainfield. 

Only employees 21 and older will be allowed to sell alcohol. Anyone selling alcohol to underage customers will be fired.
