City Council Approves Aqua Funds

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Mayor Tom Henry has reiterated his support of the City of Fort Wayne's takeover of Aqua Indiana's water facility. 

The press conference came before last nights city council meeting where an ordinance for the $67 million dollar purchase of Aqua was approved along with a $63 million dollar bond to finance the cost of connecting the two systems.

The Journal Gazette reports the transition to City water will occur between October and November.
