FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP): A wind chill warning remains in effect across northern Indiana a day after a record low temperature of 16 below zero was reached in Fort Wayne.
 
       The National Weather Service says the warning will continue until noon Wednesday. Temperatures fell below zero in northern Indiana early Wednesday, with wind chills reaching about 20 below zero.
 
       Central and southern Indiana remained caught in the cold snap, seeing morning lows in the single digits above zero.
 
       The weather service says Tuesday's 16 below in Fort Wayne tied the record low from 1963. Fort Wayne's high only reached 3 degrees, which broke a 1963 record for the city's coldest high temperature.
 
       Many school districts in central and northern Indiana have delayed openings, with some canceling classes for a third day this week.
