Colts Season Ends In Loss to Pollard, Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Colts 24-9 in the NFL AFC Playoffs yesterday. Baltimore plays at Denver next Saturday in an AFC divisional playoff. Andrew Luck threw for 288 yards and an interception as the Indy offense generated just 3 Adam Vinatieri filed goals in the loss that ends their season after posting 11 wins in the regular season.

Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness. The team says he’s doing well in a Maryland hospital. Arians didn’t attend the playoff game between the Colts and Baltimore Ravens yesterday.

South Side grad Bernard Pollard had 4 tackles and 2 passes defended in the Ravens Playoff victory over the Colts. Pollard has 102 tackles and 2 sacks on the season.
