COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WOWO) A Whitley County man is in custody on nearly two dozen charges of child molestation, child exploitation and child pornography. 

Forty-five year-old Charles Larson of Columbia City was arrested Friday after investigators found what they call a “substantial cache of child pornography” during a search of his home. 

When officers with the Indiana State Police and Whitley County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant they uncovered photographs and images involving a nine-year-old girl. The girl has been identified with the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.

Police say Larson is charged with three counts of child molesting, a level four felony, 10 counts of child exploitation, a level five felony and 10 counts of possession of child pornography, a level six felony. 

He's being held on $200,000 bound. He'll make an appearance in Whitley Circuit Court next week.
