Crews Battle Fire at Powertrain Services

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just after 7 p.m. Friday, fire crews responded to a building fire at Powertrain Service on Conestoga Drive in Fort Wayne. Once at the scene, crews found smoke coming from the building and a large dump truck on fire in the back service bay. Officials say the sprinkler system was activated, keeping the blaze controlled.

No one was inside the building at the time, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters had the fire under control in less than a half hour.

The cause is still under investigation.
