INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Democratic activists and party leaders have converged on Indianapolis for their 2014 convention amid talk about who will try to win back the governor's office for them in 2016.

Democrat John Gregg narrowly lost the 2012 governor's race to Republican Mike Pence, but talk of a potential rematch in 2016 has stirred among Democrats.

Many delegates at Saturday's convention wore stickers asking Gregg to give it another try.

Meanwhile, Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott has emerged as a potential challenger in the Democratic primary.

Gregg and McDermott both said Saturday they are weighing their options.

For Democrats and Republicans eyeing 2016, the question remains whether Gov. Pence will seek the governor's office again or launch a bid for the White House.
