WASHINGTON (WOWO): Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly wrapped up his visit to Iraq Monday.

Donelly said the trip was a fact finding mission that included meeting with Iraqi leaders and military commanders in their battle against ISIS.

Donnelly say its critical he investigates the current strategy and the U.S. military's role in it.

 His trip, in the region, continues for the rest of the week.
