NEWBURGH, Ind. (AP): Authorities say a central Indiana man was shot once in the head before his body was loaded into a coal car that went to an Alcoa aluminum plant along the Ohio River.
 
The Warrick County prosecutor filed murder charges against two men and a woman in the death of 35-year-old Joseph Nelson of Martinsville. His body was found Feb. 17 by workers in the coal-handling system of the power plant at Alcoa's Warrick Operations just east of Evansville. 
 
The Evansville Courier & Press reports the woman told investigators she was at an Evansville motel early that morning when Nelson made her uncomfortable and she called the other men. Court documents say they all drove to a rural site in Warrick County where Nelson was shot.
