Just before 1 a.m., an Indiana State Trooper conducted the stop on a white 2009 Cadillac just four miles west of the Howe/LaGrange exit after the driver committed several traffic violations and almost hit an abandoned vehicle.

While speaking to the driver, Jonathon Hulley, 39 of Sturgis, Michigan, the trooper smelled marijuana emitting from the vehicle. After searching the Cadillac, the trooper found approximately 100 grams of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Hulley was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was booked in the LaGrange County Jail.
