Fort Wayne Air Show Returns

Fort Wayne, IN (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Air Show returns for another season with the Thunderbirds at the helm of the operation. Gates open at 9 a.m. and flights begin at 11 a.m.

Make sure to bring your ID for admission. Admission is free for general admission, and tickets are still on sale for exclusive packages.

Along with an amazing air performance, many planes will be grounded as well, for guests to get an up-close look at, including:

  • C-130 J Hercules
  • B-25 “Show me”
  • T-38
  • F-100
  • UH-72
  • UH-60 Blackhawk
  • OH 58 Kiowa

  • Cessna 172
  • Adventura Amphibious AC
  • Super Decathlon
  • MRAP
  • F/A -18 Cockpit

If you have a need for speed and want to have the same adrenaline rush as the pilots, book a race down the track with Precision Exotics. 

Festivities kick off on Friday at 6 p.m. on the landing with a concert hosted by Cougar Hunter, followed by a presentation by the USAF Thunderbirds and 122nd Fighter Wing around 7 p.m., giving you the opportunity to meet the USAF Thunderbirds.

Food and drinks will be available from local establishments.

Admission is free to the pre-show party.
