FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Some local Bernie Sanders supporters will be watching the beginning of tonight’s Democratic National Convention very closely.
Leaked emails released over the weekend showed some heavy favoritism among Democratic Party leaders toward presumptive Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton over Sanders. The led to the announcement that DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be resigning.
21 Alive reports Fort Wayne was one of 62 cities across the country to hold a “March for Bernie” on Saturday. Supporters met at the Allen County Courthouse to announce their continued support for his campaign.
Sanders is scheduled to address the convention over the controversy today.
