FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Around 8:35a.m. Saturday, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of an unresponsive male near the intersection of Burgess Street and Sherman Boulevard.  Upon arrival, officers and paramedics located an adult male laying on the ground.  Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.  Investigators are canvassing the area and speaking with anyone who may have information on the incident.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending family notification.  The exact cause and manner of death will be released at a later date by the Allen County Coroner’s office.  This case still remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s Office and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
