Fort Wayne police search for man accused of stealing $20,000 amplifier

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is searching for a man accused of stealing a Fender amplifier.

At about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, police say a suspect took a “museum quality Fender amplifier” from Speaker Workshop at 1707 N. Harrison St., according to the Fort Wayne Police Department. 

Then he left the store and placed it in a Silver Ford Fusion. The business owner said the amplifier is worth about $20,000.

The suspect is described as white, 6-feet 2-inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds.
