Funeral services released for fallen FWPD officer

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Funeral services have been released for the fallen Fort Wayne Police officer.

Officer David Tinsley, 50, died Monday night after a medical event suffered at the end of a foot chase.

A viewing is scheduled Sunday, September 16 from 3-7 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

A funeral service will take place the following day at Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 11 a.m.

Tinsley will be buried at Lindenwood Cemetery following the service.

The Fort Wayne Police Department warns drivers should expect significant traffic delays during the services and funeral procession.
