FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Work continues to move ahead on the Ash Skyline Plaza in downtown Fort Wayne and that includes finding a partner to develop the residential portion of the project. As you first heard on WOWO News earlier this month, Mayor Tom Henry told WOWO that they're down to three final selections and they're very close to choosing only one.
“My thinking is that probably by the middle of January, we will make the announcement of who we've chosen,” said Mayor Henry.
At Monday's Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission meeting officials formally announced that they have narrowed the list from six to three, that according to our partners in news at 21 Alive.
Meanwhile, work on the parking garage is already underway and the construction of the building is set to begin in April 2015.
