FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) lottery for all grade levels will be held this Friday.

The lottery is for those who applied to a magnet school, high school Program of Study or a school outside of the child’s geographically assigned district. Applications were due on Friday, Dec. 14.

The lottery begins at 9 a.m. at the Family and Community Engagement Center, 230 E. Douglas Avenue.

Parents unable to attend the lottery will receive a letter by early February with the results. Parents may also get the information online through the FWCS Parent Portal or myFWCS.

Results can be confirmed in-person at the Family and Community Engagement Center during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.). A photo ID will be required.
