FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Community Schools staffers are taking it to the street.



They'll be canvasing neighborhoods in the district to remind parents and guardians of the school system's upcoming registration dates.Every student, including those who are returning to the same school as last year, must register.



Registrations are held at the schools, the first is Friday, August 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., then again from Noon to 7 p.m. at Monday, August 4. If you can't make it to either day, call your child's school to make arrangements.



Officials say its a good way to stay connected to students and their families and its a fun way to meet kids on their own turf.
