FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne firefighters extinguished a house fire Sunday night on Chadwick Drive, near Wayne Trace and Tillman Roads.

The fire was reported just before 8 p.m. that there was heavy smoke coming out of the the home.

Everyone made it out safe and crews determined the flames started in the attic.

The garage is mostly damaged, and a few walls were torn down. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
