Goshen man busted with meth in LaGrange County

HOWE, Ind. (WOWO): A Goshen man has been arrested in LaGrange County on meth charges.

Fernando Cruz, 34, has been charged with meth possession, possession of meth paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and driving with a suspended license, according to 21Alive.

He was pulled over northwest of Howe at about 3:25 a.m. Thursday in the intersection of CR 700 N and CR 100 W.

During the stop, LaGrange County deputies discovered that something wasn’t right about Cruz. A K-9 detected the smell of narcotics, and officers searched the vehicle. Police found about 7 grams of meth and a meth pipe.

Cruz was booked into LaGrange County Jail.
