Groups Raise Cash by Cleaning Up Indy 500 Trash

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Churches, schools and other groups are getting paid to gather trash left behind by Indianapolis 500 fans. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway pays the 25 groups according to how large an area they clean. Crews arrived at the track shortly after sunrise yesterday to remove furniture, beer cans, food and forgotten clothing from the grounds.
