Homicides on the Rise in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive): Violent crime is growing in the Summit City with the number of homicides passing those of 2011 and 2012, that according to our partners in news at 21 Alive. So far this year we've seen 26 homicides, while the total last year was 22 and 18 in 2011. Police Chief Rusty York says the numbers are disturbing, but adds that most of the deaths are gang and drug-related and do not involve most residents.
