FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a car overnight Saturday.

Police say this happened just after 3 a.m. near Hanna Street and E. Creighton Avenue. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other vehicles around when police arrived.

Officers believe the vehicle involved is a gray or pewter-colored SUv with front end damage.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 48-year-old Marvin D. Hudson of Fort Wayne. The cause of death was determined as blunt force injuries and the manner of death was ruled an accident.
