Husband and Wife Team Accused of Robbing Two Vehicles

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): It's a modern day tale of Bonnie and Clyde in northeast Indiana.

46 year old Marty Robbins and his wife, 40 year old Dawn Robbins, were arrested Tuesday night in Noble County after reportedly robbing a vehicle by gunpoint just minutes earlier.

According to a state police report, the two Robbins led police on an off-road chase before crashing the stolen vehicle.

They also allegedly stole a vehicle in Kosciusko County earlier in the day yesterday, but it was left at the Noble County residence the second vehicle was taken from.

The couple is being held in Noble County Jail. Marty Robbins was also wanted on a federal warrant.
