I&M Says Over 99 Percent Of Customers Have Power

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Michigan Power has restored service to more than 99 percent of customers who lost power in Saturday’s wind storm, leaving about 10 customers without power.

 
Additional damage to equipment was discovered as crews restored more than 1,200 customers so far today. In total, the storm has required replacement of 87 poles, 85 pole cross-arms and 48 transformers.
 
I&M thanks our customers for your patience. Our crews will continue restoration activity until service is restored to all customers by 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
