Indiana Election Debate Dates Set

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Two debates have been scheduled for next month between the candidates for Indiana’s U.S. Senate election, although organizers are still calling them tentative as final details are worked out.

The Indiana Debate Commission said Tuesday that Senate debates involving Republican Richard Mourdock, Democrat Joe Donnelly and Libertarian Andrew Horning are planned for Oct. 15 in Indianapolis and Oct. 23 in New Albany.

The non-partisan commission also announced dates for three gubernatorial candidate debates among Republican Mike Pence, Democrat John Gregg and Libertarian Rupert Boneham. Those will be Oct. 10 in Zionsville; Oct. 17 in South Bend; and Oct. 25 in Fort Wayne.

Voters are being invited to submit possible questions for the candidates through the commission’s website at indianadebatecommission.com
