Indiana Panel Taking Up Tougher Abortion Pill Rules

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): An Indiana House panel is set to consider a proposal that would require clinics offering the abortion pill to perform ultrasounds on women seeking the drugs. The House Public Policy Committee is holding a hearing on the bill today. The measure doesn’t specify what type of ultrasound must be done.
