Indiana Secretary of State Encouraging Hooisers to Take Part in Mock Election

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is encouraging students, educators and parents to take part in a national mock election aimed at helping people better understand democracy.

The mock election will take place October 30th and is open to students of all ages. It gives students from kindergarten to college levels a chance to learn, through a simulated experience, about democracy and the voting process. Student voters will be able to cast their vote for candidates running for Congress in Indiana.
