BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP): Indiana University Police in Bloomington say they’re investigating a reported rape near the campus.

A 19-year-old IU student says the assault occurred early Sunday about one block east of campus. She told police that three males forced her to the ground between two houses. She says two of the males held her down while the third committed the rape. The victim received minor physical injuries during the incident.

Because of limited light in the area, the woman could not provide a detailed description of the males. No arrests have been made.

IU Police issued a mass notification of the incident alerting students to possible danger in the area. They say they don’t believe there’s an ongoing threat.
