FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Local and national gas prices are on the same downward trend. With crude oil falling below $100 a barrel last week, gas prices have in turn dropped significantly. Yesterday, prices in Fort Wayne averaged $3.23 a gallon, compared to the national average of $3.30 a gallon. In fact, according to Patrick DeHaan with www.gasbuddy.com, Americans are spending over $100 million per day less on gas than they did a year ago.
