FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne police have arrested a man in connection with a cold rape case from 2008. 

55-year-old Brad Battershell has been preliminarily charged with two counts of rape, three counts of criminal deviate conduct and one count of sexual battery. 

21 Alive News says a DNA hit from the Combined DNA Index System was given to the Fort Wayne Police Department earlier this year, leading to Battershell being deemed the suspect. 

He is currently being held at the Allen County Jail.
