FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman was beaten and had her car stolen in a parking lot on Coldwater Road. Police say that yesterday morning around 2:45 A.M., officers reported to a car jacking that happened in the Macy's parking lot. The victim is from central Indiana and was coming to Fort Wayne for a convention and gave her ex-boyfriend a ride. She reported taking him to the mall to drop him off so he could meet a friend, but when they got there, he attacked her with a knife and punched her. The woman was able to get out of her car, a 1999 Lexus RX300 cream and gold color, and ran to a nearby vehicle, before the suspect drove off.
